Project Overview

TintFX was on the move working in Port Macquarie in July 2018 for two weeks tinting Port Macquarie Hospital aiming for cooling energy savings. The project included four large glass floor to ceiling areas to a height of 7.4m. For successful accomplishment all sorts of access equipment, boom and scissor lifts, scaffolding and various ladder systems was required. You will also notice the boom lift made in through the doors by millimetres.

Also many other wards and buildings on the hospital grounds were updated with the Solar Gard TrueVue window films. Solar Gard TrueVue 15 solar control window film was chosen to reduce the air conditioning load and reduce costs.

TintFX team also had many positive compliments from staff and patients on reduced glare and a quality finish. All in all, yet another great project with an amazing result.
