Client Pre-Installation Sign-Off

TinFX will always endeavour to complete a window film installation to the highest standard. In order to do that we require assistance from our clients to ensure the environment is prepared for the installation, and our team understands what is involved in your particular project. We request all clients read and acknowledge the below points, in order to ensure the best possible installation for your project.

1. Please select building type
2. You have carefully checked the detail in the Quote provided by TintFX. This includes the number of panels to be tinted in each area of your home, and the film quoted for each item is correct.*
3. If you have provided measurements, please check these are represented correctly in the quote. Please note that sizes often differ between fixed and moving / openable windows. Please ensure you have represented all of your different panel sizes correctly.
4. You have advised of any Low E glass present, or have completed a Low E scratch test if requested by TintFX.
5. You have advised if there is any existing window film to be removed prior to new film installation.
6. If we are removing existing window film you understand that to determine the type of glass under your existing window film we will need to scrape back a section of your window film approx 100mm x 100mm. If TintFX identify the underlying glass has a Low E coating, we reserve the right to cease removal, and TintFX is not held responsible for making good the window film. Window Film should never be installed over Low E Glass, and we are unable to guarantee an effective removal and reinstallation of new film if you have Film on Low E Glass.
7. You have advised TintFX if you have applied Durashield or any water-repellent product to the glass to have window film installed.
8. You have clearly represented how your windows are placed in your home. This includes height from floor level, any obstructing furnishings or features in your home.
9. The area in front of the glass is clear of excessive obstacles / personal items. If installing film to the exterior face of the glass, this includes large plant pots and items of heavy landscaping / outdoor furniture.*
10. There are no obstructions to the full face of the windows (eg low fixed blinds, nib walls), or any obstructions have been clearly shown to TintFX.
11. The area is clear from dust and pet hair – we recommend vacuuming the surrounding area well the day or morning prior to your installation. Please note that while we do our best to ensure no contamination, pet hairs that are caught under the film are not the responsibility of TintFX.*
12. If your home is part of a strata plan you have contacted them for relevant permissions.*

14. Thermal Stress Acknowledgement*
You are aware there is always a risk of increased Thermal Stress when installing Solar Film to Glass. TintFX has provided you with information about your particular circumstances and the film we have recommended, and you undertake the installation with no recourse to TintFX for any subsequent glass breakage after being informed of the reasons for thermal stress failures.
