To achieve solar heat control in this particular situation we recommended to our customer 3M Prestige 20 Exterior Solar Control window film for the following reasons.
– The highlight windows are made of thick laminated glass and have partial shading from the eave and solar panels.
– Using an external film drastically decreases the absorption of heat into the glass and reduces the risk of thermal stress.
– Therefore it decreases the chances of the glass cracking.
