In this state of the art brand new home at Vaucluse TintFX installed Metamark M7 Silver Etch for added privacy to their side access windows. Did you know that most new glass has a low E internal baked on metal coating?
This is mostly a requirement for BASIX (building sustainability index) – an energy saving building requirement.
The only problem is if you want to apply extra privacy or any other treatment, you need to apply an external film otherwise you will negate the Low E performance of the glass. Rest assured at TintFX we will always recommend the best solution.
