Project Overview
Problem: Our clients at this architecturally designed house in Manly had specific requirements of their window tint. We needed to supply and install a window tint that would stand up against the harsh coastal climate, reduce UV damage to the floorboards and furniture and also reduce the heat in summer, whilst changing the aesthetics of the building only minimally.
Solution: We installed Solar Gard’s Stainless Steel 50 film to the four large easterly facing panels, which were already high performance glass. This film can withstand the coastal climate and protect from corrosion so common in coastal buildings. We also installed Metamark Dusted Frost to several window panels within the home, but also to a study, creating a sense of privacy whilst keeping with the romantic design within the house.
