TintFX – Glass Film Solutions installed solar control window film at this stunning modern house with Low E glass.
Buildings that have low E glass require an exterior window film because the low E coating is a metal baked on layer, applied to the inside face of the glass in the glass manufacturing.
This is now becoming the norm.
We installed 3M Prestige 70 Exterior solar control window film with which now the home owners are experiencing their increased indoor comfort. Solar heat rejection improvement from 28% up to 60%, whilst still keeping their Low E insulation, and keeping up to 40% off their heat loss in the cooler months.
